Due to COVID-19 event-related restrictions, VMB 2021 has been rescheduled for 2022.
Information from Lady Raven:
What does this mean for existing ticket holders? All purchased tickets have been automatically rolled over to VMB 2022 for the new date. You will be mailed replacement tickets at the beginning of 2022. The upside of managing and mailing the tickets myself, personally, means that I have complete access to the sales spreadsheets – your ticket information will never be lost. By next February, I will send a follow-up email notifying everyone when the replacement tickets have been shipped to you. Don’t worry, the coveted red envelope will appear in your mailbox around that time. Between now and then, I encourage everyone to follow the VMB’s Facebook Page for updates and ongoing community engagement posts throughout the year.
What about refunds? Ticket refunds will not be issued. Why? Funds generated from early ticket sales is what made it possible to put down multiple, large, non-refundable deposits both with the venue as well as event-related service providers. As you can imagine, booking two ballrooms at a massive venue such as the Portland Art Museum does not, quite frankly, come cheap. Booking the new 2022 date moved all of the 2021 deposits over to next year to lock it down for the event. Also as a general reminder, tickets have always been non-refundable over the history of the event. It’s frustrating, I do understand. Personally, I have $320+ in non-refundable tickets to see Apocalyptica and that show has been rescheduled three times already. It’s ok though, I get it, we’re all stuck in this pandemic together and doing the best we can.
The tickets that are currently on-sale are for the 2022 date and will be mailed out February of that year, along with the replacement tickets for existing ticket holders.
