I’m underage, if I bring my parent/guardian can I attend?
Absolutely not my young friend! In accordance with the OLCC laws and
regulations no one under the age of 21 will be allowed into the venue.
My spouse is a minor, can I bring him/her to the ball?
That would still be a negative, a minor is a minor.
Will the VMB ever be all ages?
No, it will not.
I ordered my tickets from PayPal and haven’t gotten them yet!
Email Lady Raven with ticket inquiries, expect a response within 24-48 hrs.
Do I need to print out and bring my paypal receipt?
Physical tickets must be in-hand to get entry into the event. PayPal printout will not suffice for entry.
What do you mean by “dress code enforced”?
The VMB is a formal event and is not to be confused with ‘costume party’. Appropriate attire includes tuxedos/suits, ball gowns, corsets, period-wear (Victorian, Edwardian, Renaissance, etc.), neo-Victorian, and formal evening gothic attire. Cocktail dresses are also appropriate. Are masks required? No, but they are encouraged. Guests wearing masks have always been around 60/40.
NO STREET CLOTHES ALLOWED (blue jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, etc.). Also, while some risqué outfits are gorgeous and can be appropriate given the theme, we ask that anything ultra-revealing/exotic remain at home as this is a formal event.
If you have any questions regarding the dress code, please send us an email.
Can I bring my camera?
Yes, you can. However, we ask all guests to be mindful and courteous of others. Ask first if you want to take a photo of another guest, some arrive in a mask for good reason and don’t want their image on the internet.
Does the VMB have any affiliation to the LARP game, Vampire’s: the Masquerade?
No, it does not.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
